About Us

Hi! My name is Makenzie - the owner and creator behind Marley & Co. What started out as a small hobby quickly turned into something so much bigger. I have always loved to make t-shirts and sweatshirts as it is my favorite everyday apparel that can be dressed up or down. Opening my own small business was an absolute dream come true!

One of the most special parts about this journey is the name behind the business - Marley & Co. Designs. Inspired by my sweet dog Marley who has been an absolute blessing to me and everyone she encounters with her slobbery kisses and all the cuddles. Naming my business after her made it feel more personal and close to my heart and I wouldn't have it any other way! 

Building this business from the ground up has taught me so much about creativity, hard work, and believing in yourself when things feel uncertain. I have also been incredibly lucky to have such a supportive boyfriend, Luke, beside me through it all - encouraging me, believing in me, and helping me through the stressful moments. Having someone who supports your dreams the way he supports mine has meant more than I can explain.

Every order, every message, and every bit of support means the world to me. I am so thankful and blessed that I get to do something I truly love while making shirts that others love as well. Marley & Co. Designs is more than a business to me - It's a little piece of my heart.
